
The Castleberry Education Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of the 2025-2026 Innovative Teaching Grant Application Window. The Innovative Teaching Grant recognizes and supports innovative and creative instructional approaches to achieving goals that align with the mission and vision of Castleberry ISD. Educators may apply for up to $2,000 individually or $4,000 for a grade level or department grant. Applications will be accepted until 11:59 PM CT, Monday, March 24, 2025. Grant recipients will be recognized at the Castleberry Education Foundation Annual Spring Gala on April 11, 2025. See below for more details.
Grant Eligibility: The Innovative Teaching Grant is open to employed educators with Castleberry ISD. Volunteer-based and non-academic extracurricular activities are excluded. Applicants may apply individually or as a team, with a designated Project Chairperson assuming administrative responsibility for team-based proposals. Campuses and individuals are not limited on the number of grant applications they can submit.
Grant Application Requirements: Grant proposals should align with district and/or campus goals. Applicants can refer to the following documents to ensure their innovative ideas support the campus and district objectives:

Campus Improvement Plan,
T-TESS Rubric,
and Grant Rubric.
Grant proposals have a limit of $2,000 for an individual and $4,000 for a grade level or department.
Grant proposals should not include incentives, salaries, travel, rewards, honorariums, or consumables, and may not replace regular funding from tax-based sources.
All technology-related requests should be cleared by Jacob Bowser before submitting. Applicants should consult their campus secretary to ensure the vendors have been district-approved.
Grant Dates and Deadlines: The Innovative Teaching Grant application window opens Monday, February 17 and closes at 11:59 PM CDT, Monday, March 24, 2025. The Grant Committee will only consider on-time submissions.
Grant finalists will be announced and recognized at the Spring Gala on April 11, 2025.
Expectations for Grant Recipients: Grant recipients must remain employed with Castleberry ISD to receive their grant. Grant recipients who resign prior to the 2025-2026 school year forfeit their grant award.
All grant purchases must be completed by June 2, 2025. Funds and equipment purchased with grant monies will be awarded between July 28 and August 15, 2025. Grants that are awarded should begin implementation on or before October 1, 2025.
All grant purchases remain the property of Castleberry ISD. Grant recipients may not transfer or sell supplies, materials, technology, and/or subscriptions.
